Friendly company and help getting out and about, for older people who would like more connection in their week.

What this can include

  • Conversation and company at home
  • Help with the weekly shop
  • Going along to GP and hospital appointments
  • Trips out and community activities
  • Taking up hobbies, old and new

We help older people across the West Midlands keep living happy lives in their own homes, with companionship care.

Companionship is simply being there. Whether it’s the weekly shop or a GP or hospital appointment, our care workers are on hand to support each client to get out into the community whenever they want to.

What is companionship care?

Some people live alone and can’t see family and friends as often as they’d like. Others have recently lost someone and are finding it hard to adjust. Many of the people we support simply want company and conversation. Loneliness can harm health, which is why we see companionship as real care.

Live well with Midland Health

We don’t think age should be a barrier to adventure. We’ve helped clients take up dancing, music, knitting and cooking new dishes. Whatever you enjoy, or would like to try, we’ll find the right person to share it with you.
